My Review:

Raw and edgy could be the descriptive phrase for this work. The raw nature is overworked. There are no redeemable characters in the entire story. The lead character is beyond flawed and her end destination is probably the most logical location for a person with no morals, ethics or character.

The paranormal aspect takes a long time to come to fruition. When it finally comes into view, the book sags. As a voracious reader I have already read two amazing books that worked bringing mythical beings into the modern world. This book pales in comparison.

Often stilted and just plain nasty, this book could appeal to the lowest common denominator. Not a book I would recommend. For the longest time I wondered if Dayna would sleep with the kitchen sink as she had slept with everyone else.

Disclaimer: I received a paperback copy from the author in the hopes I’d review it.

My Rating: 3 stars
