Take This Piece of Advice and Approach Life Like a Little Leaguer! #inspiration #motivation #MondayB

"Sportsmanship for me is when a guy walks off the court and you really can't tell whether he won or lost, when he carries himself with pride either way." -- Jim Courier

Last night, I watched major league baseball players play the game with the same excitement and fervor as when they were little leaguers. See, the Little League World Series is happening and MLB supports it every year by having a game played in front of the little leaguers on the same field as the world series is played on. When the game was over, the Mets and Phillies lined up and shook each other's hand while saying, "Good game."

What did I take away from this?

Sportsmanship, no matter who you are or how old you are, comes down to respect for the game and for each other. It doesn't matter who won or lost because everyone played their best.

So, how does this apply to us?

No matter what we're doing or going through, showing respect to others is so important. We're all players in the game of life and how we handle our victories and defeats is what separates the champions from the others.

Let's show the world we're filled with these qualities which makes a champion. Live the Little Leaguer life and don't forget to shake hands when the game is over.
