"Your body is an absolute mirror of your mind. As you worry, your body shows it. As you love, your body shows it. As you are overwhelmed, your body shows it. As you are angry your body shows it. Every cell of your body is being allowed or resisted by the way you feel.
'My physical state is a direct reflection of how I feel', instead of 'How I feel is a direct reflection of my physical state'." ~ Abraham-Hicks
Are you listening to your body? Is it telling you to slow down and possibly rest?
Last weekend, we had plans to go see a musical act at our local Farmer's Market. Saturday evening, we packed a picnic and as the evening went on, both MR N and I didn't feel well. We talked it out and chose to listen to our aching bodies. We needed a rest and walking to and from the concert would be stressing our already taxed joints.
Our bodies reflect everything that is going on within us. Mind, body and spirit work well together but when one is out of sync, the other two are as well. Stress eats away at us and our body reacts to the foreign substance. But there are times when we need to help our body by resting and recharging.
Are you listening to your body? What is it trying to tell you?
Don't ignore the signs your body is sending out. Rest when you need to rest. Reboot when necessary.
