Are you waiting for the fatal flaw of someone you like/love to reveal itself or are you accepting happiness in whatever form it takes?
I've been reading a book and in it, the heroine is obsessed with finding the fatal flaw in the hero before he finds hers. She's put up so many walls to avoid getting hurt and this fatal flaw thing is her last weapon of defense. The problem with this mentality is that she is blocking happiness from her life.
No one is perfect. We all have flaws and foibles. The great thing about unconditional love, though, is that it sees past our flaws to the beautiful person we are.
If all we do is look for the fatal flaw in others, we're missing out on the possibility of happiness and love. Don't let your fear of being alone or getting hurt wall your heart from the world.
