A Day in Canada by Per-Henrik Gürth and @KidsCanPress #bookreview #Canada #kidlit

Title: A Day in Canada

Author: Per-Henrik Gürth

Genre: Canada, Children’s Books

Book Blurb:

There are so many fascinating things to do in Canada at any given moment, and Per-Henrik Gurth's A Day in Canada brings them to life in bright, bold colors. A clock on each page helps kids follow along with the time of day as beloved Canadian characters enjoy summer activities from dawn until dusk and from east to west and up north. Watch the sunrise in St. John's, explore an old fort in Quebec City in the morning and see the Northern Lights in Nunavut before bedtime – it's always fun o'clock in Canada.

My Review:

It's time wake up and see Canada. This picture book travels throughout the day and explores famous landmarks of Canada. Each page has a clock pointing to an hour. An ingenious, fun way to teach children to tell time as well as see what’s so great about Canada.

The colours are bright and the print is easy enough for a child to read. The characters in the story are cheerful and positive. It's a great way to learn about Canada. I highly recommend it!
