When you woke up this morning, did you give thanks?
November is commonly called Thankful month. It's a time to reflect on all that we're grateful for and all we have. It's also a time to help those less fortunate. But that's a thought for another day.
What are you thankful for?
I read this quote this morning and it spoke to me. We all have the opportunity every single day to give thanks. If we're not, then that's our fault.
I give thanks for. . .
- my health
- my beloved MR N
- food on the table
- a roof over my head
- living in a safe neighbourhood
- a career I love
- enough money to live comfortably
- money/time to help those in need
- my friends and family
- my relationship with God
- my freedoms
- my compassion
Give thanks right now for all the blessings in your life. It'll give you a special gift in return: perspective shift.
