When I'm worried and I can't sleep I count my blessings instead of sheep And I fall asleep counting my blessings When my bankroll is getting small I think of when I had none at all And I fall asleep counting my blessings
I think about a nursery and I picture curly heads And one by one I count them as they slumber in their beds So if you're worried and you can't sleep Count your blessings instead of sheep And you'll fall asleep counting your blessings

Count Your Blessings lyrics © Imagem Music Inc
When worry follows you around, do you let it get the best of you or do you do what I do and count blessings?
Over the weekend, I watched White Christmas with Mr. N. I love this movie and one of my favorite songs from it is Count Your Blessings, sung by Bing Crosby. The lyrics are above.
It's easy to allow worries and stress to get the best of you, especially at this festive time of the year. A sure-fire way to combat worry is to count your blessings. You'll have a hard time clinging to the negative feelings when you're immersing yourself in gratitude.
We're incredibly blessed, all of us. Focus on your blessings and you'll stab worry in the heart.
