My Review:
Being called to heal in unknown, dangerous situations is nothing new for Madison but facing it without her mate, Alex, is not something she does often. She comes up with a plan and with the assistance of her dear friend and wizard, she travels to see what the wizards need. After she heals one of their own, she is asked to do one more thing: free the Prince Wizard. Madison senses a trap but she tries her best to rescue him. If she fails, she’ll die as will her mate. What she doesn’t realize is that the peace between the Wizards and the were-animals is severed and she’s the only one who can save them all. Will she risk it all to save all were-animals or has she just forfeited her life to the Wizards?
Hand of Magic #2 – Warlocks is a sizzling romantic fantasy unlike anything I’ve read before. Blending intricate world building with sinister plots, scorching romance among shifter races, heartbreaking loss with a devastating choice, this book is a must-read. The magic is well-conceived, and the action is realistic. The emotional turmoil raging in Madison connected me with her and I honestly don’t know if I had the heart to do what she did but I like to think I would. The plot moves at a quick pace and the ending made me wonder what is next for Madison and her Hand.
If you love paranormal romance with plenty of action scenes, you’ll love Hand of Magic #2 – Warlocks. I can’t wait to read the next installment!
Favorite Character/Quote: Madison. I loved her in the first book and love her even more in this one. She’s protective of her mate and her Hand but she’s also willing to do anything to protect her mate, Alex. Her confidence in her powers as well as her ability to conquer her demons is poignantly expressed in this book.
