Ewan is a marquess who is far too busy to find a wife, let alone get married in five weeks in order to keep his inheritance. He's in charge of bringing down an elusive gambling syndicate and investigating several deaths related to it. When he meets Lady Juliet, he's drawn to her. When they confess their true feelings, a plan is enacted. But when their marriage of convenience turns into something far more dangerous, will love connect their souls or yank them apart?
A Marriage for the Marquess is an intoxicating Regency romance full of emotion, intrigue, danger, and love. The romance is Regency at its best. Ruth A. Casie writes immersive historical romance with emotional narration and characters you'll fall in love with. There's quite a bit of suspense which had me whipping through the pages. The intricacies of the gambling ring propelled the plot. A Marriage for the Marquess may be book one in a brand new series by Ruth A. Casie but it is unputdownable.
