After All These Years is a heart wrenching second chance romance that touched me deeply. With its later in life characters, raw emotional narration and the hope love whispers, it is truly unforgettable. Lucinda Race writes a romance with so much emotion, I cried. I cried for Arielle. I cried for Simon. I cried for Lucinda Race who wrote this after losing the love of her life.
The characters are well-written with hidden secrets, desires, and guarded hearts. Arielle wants answers but so does Simon. Their heartbreak became my heartbreak as I read.
The romance is poignant, emotional, and impossible to look away from. The number one question of if they can overcome past hurts and move forward in love had me reading into the night. It’s a touching second chance romance and one that’ll rip your heart out. I loved it and so will you.
