All she wants for Christmas…
Looking for love on a holiday cruise to the Caribbean isn’t all it’s cracked up to be for Evangeline Spencer. On a ship loaded with single guys, the one who’s caught her eye is already married – to his career.
Confirmed bachelor, Liam Rossi, is far from ready to settle down. Basking in a promotion he’s worked hard for, Liam has no room and no time in his life for a long-term relationship. Not even the intriguing widow Spencer with her blast of wit and brains is going to change his mind.
What he doesn’t count on is the magic of the season having plans for him. That, and the Secret Santa running loose on his watch…
Author’s note: This novel contains explicit language and themes intended for readers of erotic romance fiction.
Excerpt:
Liam didn’t see her at first, but he knew she was there. His sense of smell dialed in on the rosy trail of her perfume. Muscles deep in his body strained and tic’d, at war with an excitement that pierced bone deep.
Squaring his jaw, he resolved to be hard, even brutal with her.
He followed those delicate floral notes out to the balcony, bracing for battle, even as his miserable body reminded him he was already at her mercy. And he had yet to lay eyes on her.
She lay sprawled on her stomach on the massage table set up on the balcony. Her face was turned to him, and her eyelids drooped shut. Beyond the edges of the thick white towel tucked around her body, her skin gleamed like satin after being rubbed and scented with exotic oils. Something tugged at his heart to see her so vulnerable lying there. Harmless.
“Hey there,” he greeted softly. So much for leading the charge against the enemy.
Her eyes flew open. “Hi,” she said, and arranged herself on her side, clutching the towel close to her body.
“How are you?” Liam pulled up a chair and sat down.
She covered her pink lips and yawned. “I’ve had better days. But what a day you’ve had, hmm? Congratulations on your speedy promotion from ship’s engine guy to Action Man.”
His cheeks warmed beneath his skin. “I tried to tell you this morning. It wasn’t a good time to do so but in retrospect, I should have introduced myself properly from day one, Evangeline. This cruise is one of several phases of my new role as captain, but I don’t take command until we reach Miami. I’m sorry I allowed you to think that I served in a different capacity.”
“It’s not all your fault. I drew my own conclusions, Liam. I mean Captain Rossi.”
“You’re free to call me Liam. You’re also free to leave.”
“Wait, what about the stolen purse? Don’t I deserve some form of punishment?”
“Like what?”
“Like a spanking?” she asked, hopeful.
Liam smiled. “We know who the culprit is, and it’s not you.”
“Will Maisy be punished?”
“I can’t discuss that with you, but I promise you everything is going to be all right.” He dragged in a breath. “Time for you to go.”
“You’d throw me to the crazies waiting at my door?”
“If you stay, you’re asking for trouble.”

What I love most about the holiday season:
Let’s see, there’s hot-tubbing in the snow and warming up by a romantic fire. There are family traditions, such as starting a made-up story over our Christmas meal. Each guest at the table gets to add a few sentences to the story, and no matter how outrageous their version of events might be, we just roll with it because our holiday feast tastes so much more delicious with laughter around the table. I admit, I start off Grinch-like and grumpy over the commercialization of material things that seem to kick off the holidays. Yet, blessings counted, joys lived and the magic of the season always takes over. I’m reminded to savor each day because who knows which one might be our last.
Why is your featured book a must-read to get you in the holiday mood?
Since COVID-19 spoiled plans for people to be out and about, my book offers a steamy holiday escape for fans of erotic rom-coms. While the cruise industry is under no-sail orders because of the pandemic, a reader can still set sail in luxury, get buck wild and live vicariously on a ship headed to the Caribbean. They can enjoy some red-hot fantasies, with or without a mask, on what one reviewer calls a ‘boat full of crazies’ with the tour going beyond a cruise and on to Portland, Oregon’s Rose Festival—an event that was also postponed this year because of the corona virus. All Hands Below delivers adventure, laughs, kinky bonking and a happily ever after thanks in part to a scatter-brained Secret Santa.

Author Biography:
Lelani Black is known for her novels set in the islands of Hawaii where she grew up, but it was her bestselling erotic rom-com Boss with Benefits, set on the island of Oahu, that kickstarted her writing journey into the world of romantic fiction. While her books range from steamy sweet to wicked spicy, the heart of all her stories holds a powerful message of perfectly imperfect people finding love in unexpected places, sometimes when they’re not even looking.
Lelani lives in the beautiful Rockies with her software developer husband, 3 bossy furkids and a turtle. Her now-grown kids always have a place to stay in their mountain home when they’re in town or between careers. Whenever possible, she and her family enjoy travel to visit her mom in the islands, and when Lely’s not puttering around in her garden or crafting her next hot read, you’ll find her on a pink kayak setting traps to catch crawdads in the high-mountain lakes.
