I’d like to introduce prolific author Anna Campbell.
Question 1: Where were you ten years ago in relation to your author/writer career? If you weren’t writing, what were you doing?
2015 was a huge year for me as a writer. After 8 years of traditional publishing with the occasional dabble in the indie sphere, I decided that I’d focus most of my efforts on independent releases. 2015 saw the launch of my first Dashing Widow book, The Seduction of Lord Stone, and I’m delighted to say it became an instant bestseller.
Question 2: Looking back on the past ten years, how has your writing grown?
I know that I can trust in the process now. There are the inevitable ups and downs, the master of the universe moments and the wallowing in the slough of despair moments. It’s all part of the magical journey of getting a book written.
Question 3: What are you doing now? How many books have you published?
I’m writing full-time, mainly as an indie author, although my books with Harper/Collins and Hachette are still out there and most of my foreign translations are with traditional publishers. 2024 was a really big year for me. I published my 50th book, The Duke Says I Do: Scoundrels of Mayfair Book 4. Since then I’ve written 2 novellas so I’m now up to 52.
