Royalty has been breathing down Brick's neck to marry an ol' lady of their choice to prove his loyalty to the club. For three years, Brick has been undercover. He's spent every minute carefully planning his next move, watching his back, and building trust within the club to do one thing. Bring down criminal Max King. Brick's so close he can almost taste it. Then in walks trouble from the past. Ireland Atlas is an ex-member and deserter of Savage Halo, which puts her on a "list" with Royalty. She's looking for her sister who was last seen near the Broken Halo Club that Brick runs. When Ireland gets him caught up in a situation that puts her life in danger, and risks exposing him as an agent, he vows to save her. But first, she must do something for him. They must marry. They will have to fight to stay alive. But can they fight the feelings erupting between them? Undercover Silvers are part of an undercover unit with the DEA. They focus on bringing down MC criminals. Each agent has a story to tell of tours of duty, war wounds, heartbreak, resilience, and most importantly, skill. And they're all SILVER FOXES.

Excerpt:

She couldn’t see anything and the anticipation made her clothes suddenly feel too tight. Her stomach whirled and instinct warned her to run. She could speak to others without Brick’s help…

Taking a step back, she heard…

“Don’t be afraid.” She recognized the male voice. Something about the huskiness calmed her nerves—some. He had that ability to soothe her.

Blood pounded in her ears as she slowly moved toward the office and pushed the door open to peer inside. He stood near the desk with his back to her, his head lowered as if he was reading something.

“Hello?” she said softly.

Why are my palms sweaty?

The eagerness was killing her.

Her heart beat so fast she thought it’d break a rib.

With every intention to turn tail and get the hell out of the apartment, she backed out into the outer room. Then came, “Get comfortable. You should remember your way around.”

Swiveling on her heels, she examined the space. Nothing had changed. The walls were still bare. The sleek leather couch, wide chair, and glass coffee table filled part of the room. The mini bar had stocked shelves although Brick wasn’t much of a whiskey drinker. He saved the expensive selections for his welcome guests.

On the floor was a curled up red thong as if the wearer had dragged the silky lace off and left it right where she stood.

Chills raced over Ireland’s skin.

Her blood pulsed through her veins.

Of course, he’d moved on with another chick. Brick could have any woman he wanted.

She reminded herself that she came here on her own freewill. No one forced her to put her life in danger—or face the past. She realized the risk before she planted a foot in Broken Halo. So, she only had herself to blame for the overwhelming feelings coursing through her body. There was no turning back now although she wanted to beeline a path down the hallway and to the first floor where she wouldn’t be alone.

Conjuring up the bits of bravery, she lifted her chin and straightened her spine. Her sister’s life could depend upon this meeting. This one, simple, unplanned meeting. If anyone would help her surely Brick would. He shouldn’t have any ill feelings toward her.

Taking a small step, her attention was drawn to the unkempt bed. If the wrinkled sheets didn’t tell a story, then the scent of sex—and the handcuffs hanging from the headboard--lingering in the air certainly would. She felt a flush crawl across her skin. Was the owner of the thong in the office with him?

Ireland had once been into those same things…wild parties and riding with a king on the back of a Harley. At some point a woman had to make choices for herself. Savage Halo had slowly sucked the life right out of Meg. Or rather, Max King had sucked the life out of her. Royalty and rich, he thought he could get by with anything.

She hated that the club could conjure all of the fear nestled around her heart. Hated that the people she left behind could still affect her so deeply. They’d been family. No matter how far she come, she’d still feel like the possession of Savage Halo. That was the funny thing about the past and history. They embedded themselves in a person like glitter. A person would still find traces years later, in every nook and cranny.
