I’d like to introduce historical romance author Christine Davies.
Question 1: Where were you ten years ago in relation to your author/writer career? If you weren’t writing, what were you doing?
I wasn’t actively writing. I had already written two manuscripts and, after making the round of traditional publishing houses and collecting a folder of rejections, I set them aside. Over the years, I would take them out, read them and make edits. I was working full-time outside the home.
Question 2: Looking back on the past ten years, how has your writing grown?
I believe my writing has not only matured over the years, drawing from life experience, but also having the freedom to push the story to the edge, stretch the imagination, but keeping it believable. When you’re older you don’t have the level of angst you do as a teenager.
Question 3: What are you doing now? How many books have you published?
I’m working part-time, outside the home, and writing full-time. I have two historical romance novels published with The Wild Rose Press.

Christine has a passion for love stories. When not weaving romance and mystery to create her own, she enjoys floral film photography, watching classic movies, and chocolate. Her first historical romance novel, BRANDY, was published in May 2024. Her second one, COUGAR, was published in January 2025. She resides in Virginia.
