My Review:
Finn Murphy is a country music star but he never forgot sweet Lara Faulkner. She's a teacher now and they reconnect, thanks to a fundraiser. As romantic feelings bloom between the two of them, Lara drops an emotional bombshell about her past. Can Finn prove to her his love is as true as one of his songs or will the lies piled up between drive a wedge between them?
Country Roads is a gut-wrenching emotional story about life, love, struggles to overcome great tragedy and healing. This is a challenging read as there are a lot of issues Lara and Finn have to deal with, but the ending makes it all worthwhile. The characterization of Lara and Finn is so well done, I connected with them both right away. The descriptive narration is so vivid, I became a part of the story. The emotions are angsty, intense and very realistic. Like any great country music ballad, there are highs and lows but the message is clear: it's all about the journey. Fans of the television show Nashville and This is Us will love this book. Highly recommend!

Author Biography:
There really wasn’t any other path. Grea Warner knew from a young age that she wanted to write. She was born to write. First it was in diaries with little metal keys and in written tales that she slipped to friends in study hall. School newspapers, a college television drama, and the soap opera world were next. After producing and writing a local show, she decided to delve into the world of the novelist. When her fingers aren’t tapping out her latest book filled with angst and romance, Grea can be found hiking the trails or jamming to her favorite country artists on the radio.
