My Review:
As a dog lover this book was written for me! I can't help but think every dog owner or lover will want to own this book. A wonderful collection of little stories with a big bite!
I never knew 95% of these true stories but feel better now that I do.
The two dogs I grew up with would attest that these stories are real, if they could talk. My parents have a German Shepherd (Carly) cross and a Collie mutt (Jensen) and they are my dogs too. I always feel safe walking in the woods with these two. There is no risk against wild animals and that's a great feel.
The stories are so well written and exciting to read. Dogs have been doing great things for a long time and this book is a tribute to some of the great heroes.
Can't recommend this high enough. An award winner in my view. If you own a dog or ever did, then read this book! It is a super book for dog lovers!
