Do you listen to audiobooks? Do you have a favorite? If you don’t listen to audiobooks, is there a particular reason why not?

I mainly listen to crime fiction audiobooks. Some of my favourite writers include Elly Griffiths, L J Ross and Kate Atkinson. Most recently I’ve been enjoying Val McDermid’s Karen Pirie series.

What makes this a must-listen audiobook?

First, it’s an enthralling story with engaging characters and a unique insight into the mindset of a terrorist. Second, it’s authentically set in the rural landscape of the Norfolk Broads. Third, it benefits from an excellent narrator who brings all the characters to life, not just the main players but also some minor, occasionally comic bit parts.
