Title: For Love of Medusa

Genre: Fantasy Romance

Book Blurb:

Medusa, cursed and deadly gorgon, is over heroes barging into her home. But when jaded, ex-professor Jason Walker ambles into her temple, instead of unleashing her curse, she’s consumed by an unexpected passion for the rambling academic.

Loving a mortal will end in heartbreak.

On a quest to prove his eccentric theories, Jason finds not just a gorgon, but an engaging woman. Each visit, he falls deeper for a lover he can never see. He’ll pay whatever the price to be with her even if one careless glance will end his life.

My Review:

Ready for a modern-day spin on an immortal classic tale? Who says true love can’t shake a curse loose? Greek mythology will never be the same. Wow, I loved this book so much! It’s an instant classic in my view. It has my favorite cursed gorgon, a geeky yet shy professor, a mystified collection of gods and goddesses, and a love story strong enough to break a curse. The world-building is brilliant. The descriptive narration is stunning. The writing is creative and original. All together, it combines to make this an unputdownable read.

The world-building is exceptional and brings the story to life. While the story is based on pure myth, the intricate world-building makes it seem realistic. The author builds on the myth of Medusa and then adds some creative twists.

The descriptive narration is sublime. It allows the reader to sink into the story and become a part of it. Every detail, from the setting to the romance, is poignantly described. I couldn’t get enough of this fantasy romance.

The romance is the stuff of legend. A woman who kills at a glance and the professor who woos with a blindfold and a picnic lunch. The love that builds between them will both singe your fingertips and melt your heart.

This is an incredible book and I can’t wait to read more from this author.
