My Review:
Mariah has a target on her back, an obsessed stalker, but she never imagined she’d find love on a dating app. She’ll need John’s help to catch her stalker before she’s six feet under. Wow, Forever The One.Com is a romantic suspense with a heart-palpitating plot, plenty of action, a cast of characters to keep you entertained, an adorable guide dog and a romance that’ll stand the test of time. From the moment I started until the very last page, I couldn’t put it down.
Let’s start with the characters. Mariah is a game warden in Texas. Her job is dangerous, especially when it comes to poachers. After a couple of close calls, she realizes someone is out to get her. Then she meets John, a disabled veteran in a wheelchair, and her life changes. Their romance heats up but so does the danger.
I found Mariah a great heroine. She’s smart, athletic, and can take care of herself. She also treats John like a regular guy. She’s easy to relate to while reading.
My heart went out to John. He’s a veteran who’s dealing with a lot of anger and hidden scars. His actions, feelings, and reactions are realistic and show what real veterans go through. He’s a romantic hero any reader will love.
Connie Y Harris is such a gifted writer who writes romances featuring military characters. She doesn’t shy away from real issues and struggles.
If you’re looking for a romantic suspense that’ll stick with you, pick up Forever The One.Com. Another brilliant story by Connie Y Harris and one I hope you’ll read.
