My Review:
It was a brilliant plan…until the fake relationship turned to love. Hearts on the Rocks is a paranormal rom com I couldn’t put down. Terry Newman returns with another gem of a romance. Fictional characters Alex and Blake are back as well, and they steal every scene they’re in. They’re matchmaking once again and this time, it’s an uphill battle. The dialogue is hilarious with many one-liners and tongue-in-cheek phrases. The plot moves at a quick pace. The world-building is flawless. The fake dating trope is expertly written with a couple of fun twists. All this and more combine to make Hearts on the Rocks an unputdownable read.
Life is serious so lighten your heart with Hearts on the Rocks. Terry Newman takes rom com to the next level. You’ll laugh like I did at the antics of two couples: Cagney and Brad plus Alex and Blake. This light hearted rom com will have you clutching your sides while falling in love with unlikely couple Cagney and Brad.
You’ve never read anything like Hearts on the Rocks, trust me. Terry Newman creates a world unlike any other and I want to live in this world where characters leap from books into the real world. A treat for readers.

Terry Newman, an award-winning author, writes romantic comedies with a paranormal twist.
She enjoys creating off-beat characters, each with their own quirks. She’s lived most of her life in northeast Ohio, where she sets all of her fictional towns.
Terry has been writing in some fashion most of her life , from small-town reporter to editor-in-chief and ghostwriter for a national natural health publishing firm. The last decade and half she’s worked a freelance writer, penning eBooks that range from Native Americans to starting a doula services business.
She has a daughter, a son-in-law, and a grandpuppy. Terry lives in North Lima, a real town in northeast Ohio with all of her characters. Yes, it does get crowded at times.
