Christmas should be the loveliest time of year, but the drunken antics of the local Councilman are causing trouble for the boys in blue.

And for those who are alone this holiday, like Officer Jaden Sinacore, it’s nothing more than another day on his regular patrol.

Jaden had already arrested the Councilman several times, but the man knows enough powerful people to walk every time.

When he pulls duty for the Holiday Festival, Officer Sinacore dreads another encounter with the man, another opportunity to ruin the holidays.

Instead, Jaden has a chance meeting with a stunning red-headed city worker handing out hot coffee and cocoa.

He spends the rest of his duty keeping the peace and keeping up with Jena.

And their chance meeting leads to something hotter than a mug of cocoa.

Jena’s excitement over dating a sexy cop consumes her whole holiday.

Her encounters with her hot cop in uniform are nothing compared to how the couple heat up the sheets.

Handcuffs included.

They are giddy with each other. It seems like the perfect Christmas.

Even the councilman appears to be taking a holiday break.

Until the night of the city holiday party.

Excerpt:

Officer Jaden Sinacore immediately recognized the car as his headlights passed over the silver Mercedes SI. Sleek, neat, with a high polished shine that reflected brilliantly even in the dark of night, it was a difficult car to miss, especially since Councilman Marks showed it off around town as much as possible. While he could walk from the Tustin town hall building to the corner cafe for coffee and a snack, he drove the half block and parked right in front where everyone could see.

Not that it impressed anyone. Mercedes were a dime a dozen in Orange County, silver in particular. Now, if he owned a Ferrari, Jaden thought as he pulled behind the car.

And Officer Sinacore knew exactly what he would find in that car. Two half-naked bodies steaming up the windows on a chilly night.

The evening was cool, the day after Thanksgiving, and rain was forecasted for the next day, just in time to ruin the Holiday festival, if it rained at all. Everyone hoped the rain would hold off or end early. The air was damp — Jaden wished he had worn his long-sleeved uniform. The chill was enough to feel cold.

Before exiting the vehicle, he typed the license plate into the computer, knowing what the computer would pull up. This was not Jaden’s first time rolling up on this particular car.

He pursed his lips as the letters scrolled across the screen, confirming what he already knew. How this man managed to keep his license and his position here in Tustin was a great mystery for many, but Jaden knew how he did it. Too many back-room bribes, too many promises, too many favors.

Councilman Marks was one of the town’s most beloved leaders, and its most ardent criminal.
