N. N. Light’s Book Heaven is celebrating its tenth anniversary. Isn’t that wonderful?
I’d like to introduce you to prolific author Jennifer Wilck.
Question 1: Where were you ten years ago in relation to your author/writer career? If you weren’t writing, what were you doing?
Ten years ago, I was published with a super tiny press that is no longer in business. I had three books out and I was at the start of my publishing career. It was exciting and new and very scary.
Question 2: Looking back on the past ten years, how has your writing grown?
My writing has gotten so much better over the past ten years. With each book, I learn more about my craft, I develop more interesting characters and hopefully stronger conflict.
Question 3: What are you doing now? How many books have you published?
I’m currently writing for Harlequin Special Edition, The Wild Rose Press, and I self-publish. I write both mainstream contemporary romance and Jewish contemporary romance. I have an agent who currently has another of my books out on submission. I’ve published 17 books, with two more coming out this year, and two scheduled for the future.

Jennifer started telling herself stories as a little girl when she couldn’t fall asleep at night. Pretty soon, her head was filled with these stories and the characters that populated them. Her favorite stories to write are those with smart, sassy, independent heroines; handsome, strong and slightly vulnerable heroes; and her stories always end with happily ever after.
In the real world, she’s the mother of two amazing daughters and wife of one of the smartest men she knows. She believes humor is the only way to get through the day and does not believe in sharing her chocolate.
