N. N. Light

N. N. Light’s Book Heaven is celebrating its tenth anniversary. Isn’t that wonderful?

I’d like to introduce you to prolific author Kim McMahill.

Question 1: Where were you ten years ago in relation to your author/writer career? If you weren’t writing, what were you doing?

In March 2015, I was frantically getting marketing and publicity materials in place for the May release of A Dose of Danger. It is the first of four novels in the Risky Research Series, a crime fiction series revolving around various aspects of the diet and nutrition industries. In book one, a researcher discovers a miracle weight loss pill and her team is targeted by a deadly group. With her colleagues either dead, missing, or on the run, she must trust a deputy with her life, but can she trust him with her heart? If you haven’t read this series, I hope you will.

Question 2: Looking back on the past ten years, how has your writing grown?

Since the release of A Dose of Danger ten years ago, I’ve written eight more novels, including my current series, The Beartooth Chronicles. I learn a lot about craft and storytelling with each new novel. I believe each novel is better than the last and hope everyone who has read my novels agrees.

Question 3: What are you doing now? How many books have you published?

My current project is The Beartooth Chronicles. The first three novels have been released. The fourth, Evil Under the Mountain, is scheduled for release in April 2025. The fifth and final installment in the series, Winter Resurgence, is due out in September 2025. Including The Beartooth Chronicles, I have written sixteen novels (fourteen published and two more coming in 2025) and one non-fiction book.
