My Review:

She’s out to avenge her sister’s death by any means necessary, that is, until he unmasks her. Now, both Vivienne and Tate are playing a dangerous game. Can they work together to bring those responsible to justice? Lord Appleby's Gorgeous Imposter: A Regency Historical Romance (Scarlett Affairs Book 3) is an intoxicating historical romance I couldn’t stop reading. Cerise DeLand has outdone herself yet again with Lord Appleby's Gorgeous Imposter: A Regency Historical Romance (Scarlett Affairs Book 3). This Regency romance is high stakes with characters who’ll leave their mark on you. Once I started reading, I couldn’t stop. I lost sleep over this couple and this story.

My heart went out to Vivienne the first moment I read from her POV. She’s feisty, independent, and quick-thinking. Her heart is broken after the capture and death of her sister. But her plans deflate when Tate bursts into her dressing room. Thus, the game of love and spying begins. I connected with Viv from the beginning.

The romance is deeply emotional. Cerise is a master when it comes to writing romance. It’s historically accurate, full of emotion, and soul satisfying. There’s conflict and tension but love wins in the end.

If you love historical romance set in the Regency era, pick up Lord Appleby's Gorgeous Imposter: A Regency Historical Romance (Scarlett Affairs Book 3). You’ll be swept away.
