A second chance at love during the magical season of Christmas throws Quinn off her game but can DJ prove true love doesn't have an age requirement? Quinn Porter is through with men. Her divorce tore her heart to shreds. When she sees DJ Johnson, she loathes him at first glance. His music speaks to her soul, yet she’s sure he'll hurt her like all the other men she's met. With a little help from her matchmaking friend Dee and coaxing from DJ, they start texting and seeing one another. Quinn keeps telling herself and her friends that he's much too young for her. Is she just using the age difference as an excuse? With Christmas coming up, can Quinn finally let go of past hurts and take a chance on love? Quinn may just discover love rescues her.
Love Rescues is a heartwarming Christmas romance from start to finish. I connected with Quinn right away. Her heart is broken, and she needs time to heal. When love knocks, she's not ready but maybe she will be with the help of her friends, faith, and DJ. Quinn is an amazing heroine and realistically portrayed. My heart went out to her, and I kept nudging her to give DJ a try. Even though it's a short novella, there's a full cast of characters, a fleshed-out story, and a feel-good message. The plot moves at a nice slow pace with a conflict or two to overcome. Another sweet romantic story from Stephany Tullis, Love Rescues is full of the holiday spirit. Highly recommend!
