Title: Mistletoe Magic

Author: Annette Miller

Genre: Sweet Paranormal Romance

Book Blurb:

When Melissa Owens’ Aunt Dee tells her the magic in Garland Falls is fading, Mel knows she has to help. Her aunt says she’s contacted a travel agency to come list the B and B and the town to try to increase business. When the representative arrives, Mel greets him holding a huge tarantula.

Conner Andrews has spent his whole life denying magic exists. So, when he opens Dee Warner’s letter containing a dying sprig of mistletoe, he has to go. He meets Melissa and is instantly drawn to her, despite her messy appearance and holding a huge spider.

Mel believes in magic and he doesn’t. Can the Christmas season and his strong feelings for Mel make a believer out of him before the mistletoe magic fades from Garland Falls forever?

Excerpt:

“I’m sorry.” Mel dusted her hands off on her jeans. “How can I help you?”

“I’m Conner Andrews from Andrews Travel. I’m supposed to meet with Dee Warner and Melissa Owens.”

Mel’s mouth went dry as she tried to tighten her ponytail and straighten her clothes. “I’m Melissa,” she said, as she brushed off more dust from her sweater. “Everyone calls me Mel. Have you talked to Aunt Dee yet?”

“Yes. I met her and your sister Alexandra. Mrs. Warner said she didn’t want to discuss any plans until you were present. She said you have more of the information I requested.”

“I’ll tell you all I can. What do you think of the B and B so far?” she asked, as she tried to keep the tremor from her voice. “Do you think you’d be interested in adding it your company’s listings?”

“From what I’ve seen, this place is very…quaint. I don’t want to say anymore until we have a chance to sit down and talk.”

Mel watched Conner walk away. He’d called their B and B quaint. Why did it sound like he didn’t find it quite as appealing as the word “quaint” would have her believe?

Author Biography:

Annette Miller grew up in Baltimore and married an Air Force man, getting the chance to see Germany and most of the United States. Always a fan of superhero stories, science fiction, fantasy, and horror novels, she didn't discover romance until her oldest son was two. Then, she couldn't get enough. After getting introduced to tabletop role playing games, her and her husband’s characters began to develop their own stories, which obviously needed to be written. Soon, her imagination took over, and she combined her two loves. Because she loves the woods, she tries to work in a little magic and new takes on fairy tales in her stories.
