My Review:
The story is so well written and perfect for kids to enjoy. The story has just the right elements that will make it approachable and understandable for kids of all ages. The gist of the tale is spot on. The dangers to the Amazon Rain Forest should concern all.
What sets this book apart from every other good children's book are the illustrations. These illustrations are some of the best I have ever seen in any genre of work. They often appear to be photos. They are just gobsmackingly amazing.
Combine a story written perfectly for kids with great illustrations and you have a superb children's book. The message will appeal to kids who wonder what they can do to help solve problems. Here, one child makes a difference. That is the key message. One child can make an impact. A fantastic children's book that deserves to be read to every child. A book that should be read by every child. An award-winning book.
My Rating: 5++ stars
