My Review:

Can Betsey help her cousin Joe discover the lost gold mine through supernatural means without falling for handsome Vaughn who’s a skeptic? I’m a huge fan of this series and this book might just become my new favorite. Roni Denholtz has penned an original historical western romance with supernatural elements. The world-building is superb, the descriptive narration immersive, and the characters intriguing. I couldn’t put it down nor would I want to. It just flows.

One of These Wylder Nights has a character-driven plot, and these characters are so appealing, I bonded with them. Their interactions with each other captured my attention. There’s a lot of emotion going on which only made me read faster.

Next comes the world-building. Roni Denholtz is a gifted writer who writes romance you can’t stop reading. Her talent lies in her world-building. She takes bits and pieces from the series bible and old west history, blends it with her own imagination to create an all-encompassing tale. The world-building is immersive and well-written. I was so wrapped up in the story, I didn’t want to leave. The romance starts off as combative but quickly developed into something much more. The romance is written with an skilled hand, and I truly enjoyed it. If you’re a romance reader, pick up One of These Wylder Nights. It’s a remarkable story set in the wilds of Wyoming. Highly recommend!
