I’d like to introduce you to cozy mystery author S.A. Kazlo.
Question 1: Where were you ten years ago in relation to your author/writer career? If you weren’t writing, what were you doing?
Ten years ago, I was writing for kids’ magazines and books. My love for cozy mysteries was blooming so I set out to write my first cozy mystery.
Question 2: Looking back on the past ten years, how has your writing grown?
Wow, has it ever grown. I now have 6 cozy mysteries published with an 7th one coming out May 1st.
Question 3: What are you doing now? How many books have you published?
I have one middle grade book published and 6 cozy mysteries published in my Samantha Davies Mystery series with a 7th being released on May 1st.

Syrl, a retired teacher, lives in upstate New York with her husband a lively dachshund and a wannabe dachshund (That’s a long story.). She writes the Samantha Davies Mystery series, featuring Samantha Davies and her loveable dachshund, Porkchop. When not writing she is busy hooking, rug hooking that is, and enjoying her family. Her newest book, number seven in the series, A Pawsome Summer For Murder, will be released May 1, 2025
