Years later, with a business degree behind her, an unpaid job keeping her busy, and a family that means well, Anna can't help but dream of something bigger. What's one little white lie in the grand scheme of things?

But Anna's dream job isn't just sunshine and roses. Her first project takes her to Tanzania, and everything that could go wrong, does. Not to mention her woeful love life. Will she ever reach the life she's worked so hard for? Or is success just not in the cards for Anna?

My Review:

Can Anna find success after her plummet from fame? Secrets We Keep is an original women's fiction with emotive narration and characters which will steal your heart. The story flows well and is easy to relate to. This book stuck with me long after I finished reading.

Let's start with the characters. I connected with Anna right away. Not only is she an engaging heroine but the more I read, the more I got invested in her journey. She goes through a lot of ups and downs. Poor thing. But the more she went through, the stronger I could relate. The rest of the characters are well-written and fill out the story.

The narration is expertly written. The author takes great care in detailing every scene while also amping up the tension and emotions. It's an easy story to dive into and escape life for a while.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It runs the gamut of emotions with a good message. The writing is emotive, and I look forward to reading more from this author.
