My Review:
Bryar is in trouble, neck deep and choking her, and Puma is the only one who can protect her. But she swore she’d never see him again. Two souls damaged beyond repair…can they heal each other, or will they give up their lives to save the other?
Shades of Steel is an explosive romantic suspense I couldn’t put down. Rhonda Lee Carver is back with a brand-new series and this time the characters will gut you. Their pain becomes your pain through emotional narration. You’ll cry, scream, yell, and watch as they overcome impossible odds. Love does that, doesn’t it?
I connected with both Puma and Bryar. Life has kicked them both in crotch. Their hearts tormented by the past, can’t seem to focus on the future, just the present. Rhonda Lee Carver has penned these characters expertly. By the time I reached the end, they became a part of me. These characters are as real as it gets, which only makes me love them all the more.
