Title: Sparkle of Glass
Author: Shawna Delacorte
Genre: Enemies to Lovers Romance, Contemporary Romance
Book Blurb:
Putting a painful past behind her, Darvi Stanton has a new job in a small coastal town in Oregon. Designing the stained glass windows for a Victorian-style inn under renovation is right up her alley. She’s determined to impress the owner in spite of the obnoxious, know-it-all contractor with gorgeous eyes and a charming smile.
Rance Coulter had another artist in mind for the decorative windows of his new project, someone with more experience, someone less…attractive. When he’s overruled, he gives in grudgingly, but they clash over ever decision. The only time she’s not arguing with him is when he’s kissing her. Will mixing business with pleasure lead to ruin or a happily ever after?
My Review:
Darvi and Rance react to each other like oil and water, but everything changes when they kiss. Can they figure out a way to work together on this project while exploring their hot chemistry? Sparkle of Glass is an enemies to lovers romance fraught with constant bickering and sizzling heat. Shawna Delacorte is back with a romance that is impossible to put down. If you love enemies to lovers romance, you won’t be disappointed with Sparkle of Glass.
Let’s talk about this couple. Darvi is a stained-glass artist who’s very excited about this new commission. That is, until she meets the contractor. They start off on the wrong foot and it only gets worse from there. But there’s something about the way he smiles that makes her skin tingle. Darvi is a complex woman, yet I enjoyed reading from her point of view. She’s passionate which makes her an excellent heroine.
Rance is our cocky hero. Even though he gets on my last nerve, I enjoyed reading from his point of view. He’s an alphahole but he’s got some good qualities too. If you love alphahole romance, you’ll swoon over Rance.
An excellent enemies to lovers romance to curl up to when the weather gets cold.
My Rating: 5 stars
