My Review:
Torn between true love and an illusion, doubt wars with Evie's heart. Which one will she choose? Evie must cast aside doubt and choose love or both human and Fae realms will crumble.
Stone of Doubt is a breathtaking paranormal romance in Margaret Izard's critically acclaimed series. The emotional narration carries the story. Tension builds as does uncertainty while the climax stole my breath. An intoxicating story from start to finish, you'll be reading late into the night, just like me.
The characters really shine in Stone of Doubt. Margaret Izard weaves character arcs flawlessly throughout the story. My heart went out to Evie over and over again. She's gone through so much, especially when it comes to matters of the heart. The emotions pouring out of Evie and the other characters tugged at my heartstrings.
Margaret Izard's writing continues to impress. This is book five in the series and the consistency is impressive. It is rare when an author can maintain the series storyline book to book. This is reason alone to read this book and of course the whole series.
If you're looking for a paranormal romance you will lose sleep over, pick up Stone of Doubt. I can't wait for the next book in the series.

Margaret Izard is a multi-award-winning author of historical fantasy and paranormal romance novels. She spent her early years through college to adulthood dedicated to dance, theater, and performing.
