My Review:

Marie is kidnapped and flung back in time with a crazed priest. Can John retrace her steps through time to save the woman he loves? Stone of Fear is a heart-stopping paranormal romance I couldn't stop reading. The story grabs you from page one. The characters will capture your heart, especially Marie and John. The time travel is realistic yet full of fantastical properties. But it's the romance which makes Stone of Fear an unforgettable read.

Let's start with the characters. Marie is a character we met in book one. I connected with her on so many levels. She's intelligent yet full of emotion. She's very good at her job and quick-thinking. She keeps a level head, even during the times she's under a crazy priest's power. Every thought and emotion she's expressing is accurately portrayed. She's one of the finest heroines ever written.

John is a charge-first, think later kind of hero. His beloved has been captured by a demented priest after the stone of fear. His love for her carries him on a very dangerous path to rescue Marie. He reminds me of a knight from medieval times. Talk about swoon-worthy.

This is book two in this series and it's such a beautiful romance. What makes it so wonderful is the writing. The world-building, setting, characterization, plot progression, and emotional narration blend to create a sweeping time travel romance. Every nuance is described so the reader feels like they are a part of the story. Breathtaking.
