My Review:
Dominic will do anything to protect his niece and nephew from evil Fae, even if it means transporting through time to save them. What he never expects is to fall in love with an archeologist named Moira. Can he prove his love to her and be the embodiment of hope?
Stone of Hope is an intoxicating time travel paranormal romance by award-winning author Margaret Izard. Each book in the series features an in-depth look into a part of history. In this book, Margaret Izard delves into Egyptian mythology. I’m very familiar with Egyptian mythology and Margaret Izard makes it come alive. She also weaves Egyptian mythology into her well-established world-building.
Let’s talk about the hero, Dominic. He is a hero among heroes. He’s a military man with a sharp mind and a caring heart. When he leaps through time, his reactions are realistic. It was such fun watching him fall for feisty Moira. The sparring between these two makes this book worth reading.
Another element that makes Stone of Hope an unputdownable read is the excavation in Egypt. It brings to the forefront all the greed of people robbing gravesites and tombs in Egypt. The world-building and descriptive narration makes this part of the story come alive.
Another brilliant paranormal romance in the Stones of Iona series by Margaret Izard. It’s my favorite book in the series, so far.
