My Review:
Two modern women time travel to 17th-century Salem but why?
Never in my life have I read such an addictive read. This book reels you in with its descriptive narration, exquisite world-building, historical accuracy, and more. It’s a time travel adventure seeped in history, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.
As someone who wrote her master’s thesis on the Salem Witch Trials, I was quite impressed with how accurate this story was. Very comprehensive narration makes this book historically accurate down to minute detail. I found myself jumping feet-first into the adventure.
The characters are well written and full of personality. Both Summer and Sydney are strong-willed, independent heroines. I enjoy seeing history play out in front of them. They are the heart of this story.
The plot moves quickly and the suspenseful moments will have you reading late into the night. A great adventure awaits you in this book.
