Book Blurb:

Hunted by the Black Widow Queen, Issylte--a healer with the verdant magic of the forest--must flee Avalon with the two finest knights in the Celtic realm, both wrongly accused of treason. The trio travels to Bretagne, where Issylte heals a critically injured wolf and obtains fiercely loyal, shapeshifting allies.

In mystical Brocéliande, Issylte becomes a warrior priestess of the Tribe of Dana and otherworldly mate of the Blue Knight of Cornwall, discovering with Tristan a passion that transcends all bounds. When she becomes the Lady of the Mirrored Lake, sworn to defend the sacred waters of the Goddess, Issylte must undertake a perilous quest to discover what priceless object lies hidden in its murky depths.

As a nascent evil emerges in a fetid cave, Issylte and Tristan must face a diabolical trio that threatens their lives, their love, and their kingdoms.

Enchanted. Enflamed. Entwined. Can their passion and power prevail?

Excerpt:

Taking her hand, he raised it to his warm lips. “I’ll lead your army. And be your champion.” He lifted her chin gently and locked his gaze with hers. “You saved my life, Issylte. Now I will save yours.”

As she stared into the cerulean depths of his eyes, Issylte saw the black bird again. The Cornish chough— the royal sea raven of Cornwall. She glimpsed the amber eyes of a wolf. A fountain in a forest. The still lake she’d seen in the sighting—the mirror of water which held a secret she had yet to discover. A treasure she was meant to protect.

Dozens of images emerged in the limpid pools of Tristan’s gaze. A white castle overlooking a courtyard with a pair of swans floating on a dark lake. Swans mate for life, Viviane had whispered. A stone altar in a thick forest, with warriors—the Tribe—gathered around a fire. A cottage in a forest, with a fountain and waterfall nearby. A pink stone castle high on a cliff near the sea. A tattoo— not the one on his wrist, but similar—with a Celtic trio of delicate swirls. The bubbling spring within the sacred cave, the sparkling star shimmering at its center.

In the breadth of an instant, the images drew her to him, joining her essence to his, an otherworldly bond far beyond the mortal realm. Have you not felt the truth of this when you look into his eyes? Can you not sense a spiritual bond between your soul and his? Viviane’s prophecy flashed into Issylte’s mind as she soared within Tristan’s gaze.

Overcome with emotion, tears spilling down her cheeks, legs trembling under her ruined gown, she whispered simply, “Thank you,” as the blue waters of Tristan’s eyes soothed her spirit in a wave of calm.
