My Review:
Love is the last thing Karlotta and Percy expected to discover in the never-ending war they’re in. Love is dangerous and adds weakness to their resolve. But maybe in the time of war, love is thicker than any armor.
The Prince’s Lady is an action-filled Regency romance from start to finish. The author takes great care incorporating historical events and facts to her romances and this story oozes history. The world-building creates an immersive backdrop for this romance. The descriptive narration allows the reader to dive into the past and become one with the characters.
These characters are realistic and relatable. Both Karlotta and Percy have suffered great losses. Their hearts are broken and closed off. But somehow, they see the good in the other and before they realize it, love has pierced their hearts.
If you’re looking for an escape to another time and place, you’re going to love The Prince’s Lady. It will move you as it did me.
