Excerpt:
Elise started to reply, but an unrecognized voice intruded. “Well, if my wandering wife hasn’t returned home.” Her whole body clenched. The deep timbre vibrated over her skin. It raised the hairs on the back of her neck and set every nerve on edge. She turned away from Michael searching for its owner in a sea of unfamiliar faces until she found him. Gray eyes narrowed to silver slits as she appraised him boldly. No detail went unnoticed, from the top of his wheat-blond hair down to the soles of his black boots.
“Like what you see?” Sarcasm dripped from his sculpted mouth. Chill bumps ran up her body. The man leaned against a fence post and watched her with one leg crossed over the other. His light blond hair fell in waves over his broad shoulders. A week’s worth of blond stubble on his square jaw lent a rough edge to his appearance. He looked tall, probably close to six-foot-three because he towered over her even in his relaxed stance.
“I've seen much better,” Elise shot back and raised her right eyebrow.
He pushed off the fence post with a smile and sauntered toward her. She took a few hesitant steps back as he approached. His size alone was intimidating, but her wolf rose to the challenge and she firmly planted her bare feet. She refused to cower to this man. Her arms crossed over her breasts in stubbornness as her face lifted to meet his glare.
Definitive alpha stalked her, and she trembled despite her bravado. Broad shoulders, thick legs, and a trim waist finished the all-male package. Perfection. Her wolf came to attention and scratched right under the surface of her skin. Loose, faded blue jeans, ripped in several places, outlined his thick legs. A black t-shirt defined a broad chest and the firm muscles underneath. Black tattoos ran up his arms and disappeared behind the fabric of his shirt. They continued up the side of his neck into his hairline. He moved sleek and steady like one of the jungle cats she’d seen at the zoo. Predator, all male, and she appeared to be his prey.
Her eyes dilated as she studied the stranger and sized him up. The alpha wolf in her wanted to howl either in defiance or lust. In the present moment, Elise couldn't tell the difference. The handsome devil smiled. Confident. Almost arrogant. When her mind finally cleared, she realized how he addressed her, and her temper flared to life. She placed her hands on her hips and forced her feet to move, meeting him halfway. They halted in each other’s personal space. Piercing green eyes met her steely gaze. “Wife? Did you call me wife? As far as I know, I am no man's wife.”
“Oh, you're my wife all right. I ought to turn you over my knee for the worry you've caused and for not being here to properly welcome your husband.”
A growl rumbled from deep in her chest. Her palms flattened against his chest as she tried to shove him out of her way. He didn't budge. There was just too much of him everywhere—a bulging mass of man. Her cheeks reddened when a grin spread across his handsome face. A big, straight-toothed, beautiful grin.

It’s a brand-new year, full of possibilities. Did you make any resolutions/goals for 2020? If so, please share one.
For New Years, I have decided to write because I love to write-no other reason. I’ve also decided to take more time for myself and pursue the hobbies I love, along with spending more time with family. I used to read several books a week, and that is something else I miss. I enjoy reading and it helps me to be a better writer. It’s so easy to get caught up in the “business” side of the author world!
Why is your featured book a must-read in 2020?
The Rings of Faolan-Emeralds was my first published book and I love it to this day. The characters are fun, with sassy banter, and the heat level is steamy. Werewolves in Ireland give the book a beautiful backdrop. The secondary characters will make you chuckle. This is a werewolf novel, so expect a bit of growling and biting! Elise and Elijah sizzle together on the pages, with their constant bickering, and they bring it all to the bedroom while breaking the bed! LOL!
