My Review:
Will a destination wedding at a Victorian mansion bestow a second chance at love?
Tinsel & Tea Cakes is a sumptuous holiday romance to curl up to next to a roaring fire. I’m all about second chances, especially when it comes to romance. This is a second-chance romance with a holiday twist.
Not only was the setting and descriptive narration sublime, but it was so enjoyable to watch this couple reconnect. There were classic misconceptions and misunderstandings, but I couldn’t help but root for the hero to win the heroine over.
I connected with the characters but what astounded me was the setting. Spending Christmas at a Victorian mansion…talk about romantic. The writing was enveloping and emotional.
The plot moved at a great pace with plenty of conflicts to overcome. The romance had some pretty seriously epic moments. Romance readers will love it.
Get whisked away with this holiday romance.
