N. N. Light’s Book Heaven is celebrating its tenth anniversary. Isn’t that wonderful?
I’d like to introduce you to romance author Zelda Benjamin.
Question 1: Where were you ten years ago in relation to your author/writer career? If you weren’t writing, what were you doing?
Publishing has significantly changed over the past decade. Ten years ago, it was challenging to be between publishers. I even tried self-publishing, but decided it wasn’t for me. However, I was fortunate to be part of a wonderful critique group. For two decades, we had been meeting every other week. Getting together was about more than just sharing our work for feedback. We would have brunch, talk a lot, and always had a supply of chocolate.
Without my critique group, I might have given up writing.
Question 2: Looking back on the past ten years, how has your writing grown?
I continued writing, and my last four books are the result of that persistence. I have a wonderful and patient editor who has helped improve my writing. Like everything in life, writing is a continuous learning experience.
Question 3: What are you doing now? How many books have you published?
At the moment I am working on edits for my next book Summer at Sandstone Cottage. Release date should be summer of 2025. This will be my 4th book with TWRP and my 10th published book.

Zelda Benjamin is the author of the Love by Chocolate series and Highland Falls series. She lives in Florida with her husband and a very active Labrador mix. She enjoys writing sweet romance with strong female characters. All her stories conclude with a delightful happily ever after. When not writing she loves to travel with family, experiencing the food and culture of the places she visits.
